Why voting is important

Voting can help us choose able leaders who have qualities in them which can be beneficial for the growth of the country. The state level is where the decisions are made on how to fund public education.

Education Voting makes me curious. While America has made significant progress in protecting and expanding voting, now five decades after passage of the Voting Rights Act, tens of millions of eligible voters still do not vote and far too many face explicit or implicit barriers that prevent them from participating in our elections.

We cycle public servants because we know that absolute power corrupts absolutely. This could have siginificant implications for public policy, a subject we turn to in the next section.

I absolutely believe in this. Fair and just voting practices are a must for the success of a democratic set up.
